Could I Be The Next Food Network Star?

Posted by Sarah Caron on Edible TV

Well, I’ve gone and done it now … and I am not sure if it’s even worth it. Before all the hoopla about the finale of The Next Food Network Star, I wrote and submitted an application to join the next cast. Who knows if I will make it … And if I do, I will have to come up with a better answer to my husband’s number one question: What about the kids?

I keep telling him that it’s far too premature for that. Really. It is.

And besides, after seeing what clearly seemed to be the wrong person chosen (sorry, but I totally couldn’t understand Aaron during a few parts of his pilot), I wonder if as a brown haired-white girl I have any chance at all. After all, there is already Giada, Ina, Rachael …

I mean, if it’s diversity they want, does a girl like me even have a shot?
