Who’s Who at Well Fed?

Well Fed is run by Cate O’Malley, who owns and manages the network, Madeline Miller, who is the network’s Managing Editor (Technical) and Sarah Caron, Managing Editor (Editorial).  Behind the scenes, there are a lot of hardworking individuals that bring you new content daily.  Each of Well Fed’s sites has its own Editor and team of writers.

Cate O’Malley - As Owner of the Well Fed Network, Cate is responsible for running a smooth operation, ensuring timely publication of new content on all 15 sites every weekday, and making sure we have the best and the brightest on board to entertain you, to educate you, to scintillate you.  When not running Well Fed, Cate’s work can also be found on her own sites, Sweetnicks and Mad About Martha.  She is also a contributing writer to Cooking Light Magazine’s website, runs her own travel agency and provides marketing consulting for a multi-million dollar engineering firm.

Sarah Caron (Editor of Fit Fare and Well Fed On The Town).  As Managing Editor, Editorial, Sarah Caron helps to oversee the content on the Well Fed sites. Sarah developed a passion for writing in early childhood that has never waned. She is a writer, editor, mommy and wife, who is based in Connecticut and loves cooking for family and friends (and then taking photos of everything). When she’s not hard at work on Well Fed, Sarah works as an editor for a top educational publisher. She also writes a personal cooking blog, Sarah’s Cucina Bella, and is author of Families Eat Together, due out this year from Ladder Press. She has a bachelors degree in political science from Barnard College.

Madeline Miller - (Editor of Edible TV).  As Managing Editor of the Well Fed Network, Madeline’s responsibilties include technical and design assistance, marketing, and editorial review as needed.  She is also a regular contributor to our Paper Palate site.  Madeline’s personal blog is Everything Rachael Ray.

Andrew Barrow (Editor of Wine Sediments and The Spirit World). A love of decent wine, wholesome food, photography and the internet combine into a whole where the ‘Wine Scribbler’ is concerned. From a home overlooking the Thames in the south of Oxfordshire, a whirlwind of websites, writing, picture taking and the odd culinary creation occupies his time. A WSET Diploma holder, regular visitor to vineyards, wine fairs and active member of the wine and food blogosphere - immersed in the world of wine and food best describes this WellFed Editor.

Sarah Caron (Editor of Fit Fare and Well Fed On The Town).  She is a writer and editor based in Connecticut. In addition to her personal blog, Cucina Bella, she is also the author of Families Eat Together, due out in late summer from Ladder Press, and a contributor to Mad About Martha.

Paul England (Editor of Just Baking).  Cooking was a big part of my life growing up in small town Wisconsin. Sunday dinners at my grandparents, I can still taste the fresh baked rolls and kuchen. Baking fruitcakes for my church men’s club yearly fundraiser with my dad. My summer jobs were all cooking related. Early morning baker, short order cook, catering assistant, anything they let me do, I tried. The glamorous life of computer programming called me away from pursuing a career as a chef, but the love of cooking and baking has never waned. Cookies, Et Cetera combines my loves and drives me to try new things and perfect my skills. Baking cookies, finding a new candy recipe, or writing about my latest kitchen escapades are some of the simplest pleasures in life to me.

Sarah Smee - (Editor of Kids Cuisine).  Sarah works as a medical editor by day and a food editor by night. As the oldest of 6, she’s been cooking for kids since she was a kid herself. Sarah loves to try new recipes and international cuisines. Reading food blogs is her constant hobby, and she looks all over the blogosphere for her inspiration. While she loves dining out and trying new ethnic cuisines, her favorite food has to be grilled cheese with sharp cheddar. Sarah also contributes to A Nice Cuppa.
