New Food Series Coming to PBS

In September 2008, PBS will start airing the new series, Spain… On The Road Again. The new series will star Mario Batali, Mark Bittman, Claudia Bassols and Gwyneth Paltrow. The series will chronicle the stars’ four month journey through Spain as they sample wine and food throughout the country. You can get a preview of what’s to come by visiting the U-Tube video. American Public Television describes the show as:
“The premise is simple: the two men, single-minded food- and wine-obsessed fiends, are constantly on the lookout for their next great meal. The two women also like to eat and drink but they have their own agenda: enjoying Spain’s infinite other pleasures — museums, shopping, music, spas and nightlife.
Put the four of them on a cross-country trip and the result is a showcase of Spain as it’s never been seen before — the intense beauty of Spanish food and culture mixed with all the hazards of male-female relationships and spontaneous, wacky road trip adventures. “
