New Dinner: Impossible Host Announced

Posted by Patsy Kreitman on Edible TV.

Food Network has announced that the winner of the The Next Iron Chef, Michael Symon, will be replacing Robert Irvine on Dinner:  Impossible.  Chef Michael Symon will be doing double duty by working on Iron Chef America and taking over hosting duties for Robert Irvine.

The format of the show will not change; there will still be “impossible” dinners to prepare in an unheard of amount of time.  Chef Michael Symon should be up to the challenge after winning The Next Iron Chef.

Shooting for the new season of Dinner:  Impossible will begin next week with the first episode to air in July.  The new season is set to begin airing in September.

YAY!! I love him, I was saddened to see Robert would be leaving but now I am happy again. :)

I was shocked to see a new host for Dinner Impossible. I watched the Boardwalk episode and really enjoyed it. Chef Symon is undeniably talented and entertaining, but I do miss Robert. Will Chef Irvine be on any other Food Network productions or has he gone in another direction?
