dominos.jpgYou might have already heard about this, but I thought it was definitely worth noting.

Just in case you were eagerly waiting for that Domino’s Pizza delivery with lots of extra time on your hands, you can — get this — track your pizza delivery with their new Pizza Tracker from order to oven to door on the Domino’s website. Yea, I’m serious.

“There is absolutely nothing like this in the food service industry,” said Domino’s chief information officer, Chris McGlothlin, in a recent press release. “At Domino’s, we’re obsessed with great service. We measure performance. Now we can prove it every step of the way. Pizza Tracker will allow customers to know when their order is being prepared, when it’s out of the oven, and when it’s out the door and on its way. It even includes the first name of the person delivering the order.”

Um, yea. Because we all have time to check online to be sure that we know the delivery guy … for like good manners and such. Right.

Talk about chompin at the bit…I guess if you REALLY need that pizza and are worried about its trip…? I just call them and yell when they’re an hour late…lol.
