					<description>The writers strike doesn't affect a network like Food Network, which I doubt has ever been within 1000 yards of a WGA writer. The reason for this more likely is the recent rise in popularity of Bourdain's "No Reservations" show on Travel Channel. FN sees an opportunity to say, "Hey, we've done this too. Watch us!"</description>

					<description>That's the point- they don't have any new ideas, and the writers strike is affecting new programming too. What would seem fresher, re-runs of Bourdain, who they haven't had on for a while, or more of Rachael Ray shakin' it over her Ritz Cracker Surprise?</description>
