Jamie Oliver’s Back!
Posted by Madeline Miller on Edible TV.
I love me some Jamie Oliver. I love the random British phrases he utters and enjoy trying to decipher them. I also love his approach for clean, simple food. If you’re in the same club (or if you even like the guy), you’re in for a treat. Jamie will be returnign to the Food Network on Saturday, January 12 at 9:30am ET/PT with a new half-hour series called Jamie At Home.
The show will follow Jamie “around his home, as he prepares delicious meals from produce that has been grown in his country garden.” According to Bob Tuschman, Senior Vice President, Programming, for the Food Network: “Jamie Oliver has always been a Food Network fan-favorite and we are so excited to have a new series that showcases his easily accessible cooking style and his exuberant personality. His new show focuses on recipes that are quick, fresh, inventive and easy to recreate at home.”
Each episode will focus on an ingredient from Jamie’s garden, which he will prepare in several different ways. Some examples of recipes Jamie will prepare: spicy pork goulash, wild mushroom and venison stroganoff, and a warm winter salad of roast duck and pumpkin.
