Phew! Nominations officially closed on the 2007 Food Blog Awards on Wednesday at 11:59 p.m. Thanks to everyone who spent time nominating their favorite blogs. The judges have their work cut out for them while whittling down the lists to select the finalists.

So, what happens next? The judges will work through the weekend to choose five finalists for each of the 14 categories. Those will be announced on Monday, here at Well Fed. Then you, the public, will have a chance to vote in the categories through Friday, December 14, 11:59 pm EST. Winners will be announced on Monday, December 17.

In the meantime, we would like to take a moment to thank our valuable and fantastic FBA sponsors.
