Upcoming Food Network Shows

The Food Network has some DVR-qualifying programming coming up in November. The Next Iron Chef concludes Sunday, November 11th at 9PM ET/PT. Then it becomes all turkey anf Football, with brand-new specials including All Star Thanksgiving Recipes Wednesday, November 7th at 9PM ET/PT and All Star Holiday Spirit Monday, November 26th at 9PM ET/PT.
After the excitement surround the Mario Batali/Rachael Ray versus Giada/Bobby Flay battle and since the network is all about Iron Chef America lately, it makes sense to have Kitchen Stadium be the home to the Iron Chef America All Star Holiday Battle Sunday, November 25th at 9PM ET/PT with Cat Cora and Paula Deen pitted against Tyler Florence and Robert Irvine. That one should be a good one, don’t you think? I’m putting my money on the guys, since Irvine has the “cooking under time pressure” edge.
Food Network stars will also answer viewer mail about Thanksgiving questions in a special called Dear Food Network: Thanksgiving, which premieres on Saturday, November 10th at 9PM. In the special, Paula Deen, Bobby Flay, Tyler Florence, Guy Fieri and Robert Irvine, come to the aid of five Food Network fans solving their turkey day dilemmas from boring side dishes to tough pie crust to “how on earth does everything get done on time in my small kitchen.” The fun part of this special is that unsuspecting fans get their emails are answered face-to-face by their favorite Food Network personality.
The Food Netowrk will also offer Thanksgiving-themed premiere episodes of Paula’s Party, Diners, Drive-Ins & Dives, Throwdown with Bobby Flay, and Emeril Live. Of particular note is Paula’s Party: Deep Fried Thanksgiving Party, where every dish is deep-fried. We’re talking fried stuffing on a stick, fried cranberry fritters, and turkey with a deep fried pecan glaze. Maybe next year will be Paula’s Party: Butter Thanksgiving Party. Oh wait, I bet that could apply to this year’s, too.
