It is with my deepest regret that I am writing this letter. Myself and seven other family members went to the DC location to celebrate my cousins 40th birthday. I thought that would be a great place for the ladies to get together and celebrate such a mile stone in a ladies life. It is with my regret to say that we did not have a pleasant experience. The brunch menu indicated champagne, orange juice or mimosas. We later found out that the restaurant was not serving champagne but they were serving sparkling wine. When we asked for a glass of champagne the server was very rude and indicated that he would provide us the drink on a one time basis and he is just the messenger. After our meal we received the bill and the gratuity was circled. I would not expect something like this at a what I thought was a quality restaurant such as B Smith's. We paid our bill, including the gratuity and was having table conversation. The server kept walking back and forth asking us were we finish and could he get us anything else. Everyone at the table found this to be rude. We felt as though the server was rushing us. Then the manager came over to take a look at our table. I have never experienced anything such as this while dining at what I thought was an upscale restaurant I am a true Washingtonian born and raised in Washington, DC and still live in the metro area. I just wanted to send this e-mail to inform B Smith's of my dissatisfaction Thank you for taking the time to read this e-mail. I hope this can save others from the misfortune I experienced at B Smith's
