Paula is promoting her new non-fiction book and the Deen boys are promoting their new cookbook: The Deen Bros. Cookbook - Recipes from the Road. I’m a little jealous of the studio audience during this taping - they all got a copy of the Deen Bros. Cookbook.
The Dean Bros. Cookbook looks like a good fit for the Deen Boys’ fans and anyone who enjoys Southern cooking. It is, of course, Southern themed, and is a companion book to their Food Network show, Road Tasted. It includes details about stops at mom-and-pop restaurants and the Deen Brothers’ spin on the signature recipes of those stops.
Recipes include Lobster Rolls and Brats, Truffles and Rosemary Lamb Chops, basic coleslaw, Crab Corn Cakes with Basil-Jalapeno Sauce, Goat Cheese Grits, Thumbprint Cookies, and Corn Bread with chopped bacon and sautéed apples.
