Best Food Blog by a Chef

This category is for any food blog written by a chef. The chef should be able to prove that they worked, as a chef, or cook at some point during 2006, and have posts on their site to prove it. The level of the chef is unimportant. It could be a Food Network star, or the person making hot dogs from a cart. Nominations for this category in the comment section of this post only.

Great information, suggestions, and fun to “boot.”

We love the mountain man look, also!

My nomination is Benjamin Christie who has taught me a lot about Australian food.

The new blog, corduroyorange.com, by Jesse Sharrard is an amazing addition to the world of cooking, grilling, knife skills and anything else that goes on in the kitchen or relating to the kitchen. The blog is the best food blog I’ve seen; the breadth of content, as alluded to above, makes it entertaining and useful. In addition to interesting yet doable recipes, helpful hints about how to handle kitchen equipment and other food resources, the blog has a fictional story about a chef and food jokes. I really enjoy the variety and humor of the corduroyorange.com and think it is certainly worthy of this award.

I agree with Julia — my nod goes to http://corduroyorange.com. Great pictures and commentary.

I think that Jesse Sharrard’s Corduroy Orange is just about the best food blog I’ve ever read. It’s creative and very funny.

For her great interaction with her readers in addition to her writing.

Everything from Dan’s own recipes in his restaurant, to the adventures of running the restaurant to dining out:

Eggbeater, of course!

I would like to submit The Knife’s Edge by Haddock for this category. His writing is compelling, enjoyable, and enlightening.

I second the nomination of Ideas In Food because of their astonishing and almost unheard-of open sharing of new creative ideas and technical processes. Not only are they a rare example of integrity, they post nearly every day despite hectic schedules. They’re long overdue.

I want to nominate Aidan Brooks: Trainee Chef as best chef food blogger of the year. He is 19 years old and making a huge impact on the food blog world for someone of his age.

shuna lydon: brilliant, insightful writer extraordinaire. http://eggbeater.typepad.com/.

Shuna Fish Lydon’s eggbeater takes the cake.

incredible in this industry to have someone share so freely the knowledge, insight, and beauty like shuna lydon does…

I want to nominate it. Iam working in a photographic project about Chef and this blog keep me aware about the trends in the cooking in my country an the rest of world, the phylosophical discusions about the trade of the cooker and miscelanous about it. http://www.tomasnomas.blogspot.com/
